An instruments wiring information is entered through various data input displays to enable different junction box configurations. Wiring layout displays are provided that enable each junction box terminal strips to be configured with the proper nomenclature and terminal numbers. Once this is done, instruments are assigned to the wire pairs configured in the junction box. This enables a quick and easy way to configure almost any instrument loop. You can input each terminal strip one terminal at a time or use the convenient terminal configuration dialog to automatically assign the terminal strip wiring layout on an incoming multi-conductor cable all in one step.
